Dr. Celeste Conlon is the founder of Conlon Psychological Services. She holds licenses in Texas as a psychologist and as a school psychologist (LSSP). Additionally, she is a Diplomate and certified member of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies. Dr. Conlon completed a certification program in OCD treatment through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute. She is a member of multiple professional organizations such as APA, ADAA, and IOCDF where she receives continued training in evidence-based treatments. Furthermore, she is an active member of the National Social Anxiety Center.
Dr. Conlon earned a PhD in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Arizona State University. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults using applied behavior analysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP).
Dr. Conlon specializes in the treatment of individuals with various conditions, including social anxiety, selective mutism, panic, phobias, generalized anxiety, depression, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, ADHD, and high-functioning autism. Before moving to full-time private practice, she worked in schools conducting psychological evaluations, developing behavior interventions, and providing individual and group counseling for anxious adolescents. She developed intervention programs for students with excessive absences from school (school refusal often due to social anxiety, panic, or OCD). She has trained parents, mental health professionals, and educators within multiple school districts to implement these interventions.
Dr. Conlon’s office is in Fort Bend County, Texas, recognized as the most diverse in the nation. She regularly works with individuals and families from around the world, representing various countries and cultures.
